Chili growth and yield enhanced by Nousbo Fertilizers in Myanmar. Research summary<\/strong><\/p>\n

(Summary of the study of Nousbo Silica Bubble and Nutri Bubble Tabs effect on Chile growth and yield performances in Myanmar)<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Nousbo Silica Bubble is a Silicon and Potassium fertilizer, which increases crop yield and quality by thickening the cell wall and increasing the plant survival rates against pests, deseases, blast and lodging. Nutri Bubble is a fertilizer in the form of effervescent tablets, which contains multi EDTA & EDDHA micro elements. Nutri Bubble fertilizer increases fruit set percentage by promoting formation of chlorophyll. In order to investigate the effect of Silica and Nutri Bubble foliar fertilizers on Chili, the study of Nousbo fertilizers efficacy was conducted during the wet season of 2019 in the Yezin Agricultural University (YAU), the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.<\/p>\n

The following 8 treatments were used for this trial: T1 \u2013 (1:250 Silica Bubble), T2 \u2013 (1:500 Silica Bubble), T3 \u2013 (1:1000 Silica Bubble), T4 \u2013 (1:2000 Nutri Bubble), T5 \u2013 (1:3000 Nutri Bubble), T6 \u2013 (1:500 Silica Bubble and 1:2000 Nutri Bubble), T7 \u2013 (1:2000 Farmer Practice), T8 \u2013 (No Fertilizer Application – Control).<\/p>\n

The following parameters were assessed: Plant height (cm), Number of branches per plant, Fruit weight (g), Number of fruits\/plant and Fruit yield (kg\/ha). Results are summarized in the table and graph.<\/p>\n

Chili is a multiple-harvest crop if there is sufficient irrigation and fertilizer supply, therefore three harvests were implemented in this research. Average number of fruits per plant at the first harvest (90 DAT) was not significant among the treatments but the later harvests (104 DAT and 118 DAT) were significant with T4 (1:2000 Nutri Bubble) and T6 (1:500 Silica and 1:2000 Nutri Bubble) respectively. In the case of Yield, T1 (1:250 Silica Bubble) showed the maximum yield with 748 kg\/ha, followed by T6 (1:500 Silica Bubble and 1:2000 Nutri Bubble), T4 (1:2000 Nutri Bubble) and T3 (1:1000 Silica Bubble). It can be concluded that higher rate of Silica Bubble (80g\/20liter pump) reveals the highest yield. Comparing between T4 (1:2000 Nutri Bubble) and T7 (1:2000 Farmer Practice), Yield of the T4 (1:2000 Nutri Bubble) is 79% higher than T7 (Farmers Practice) and 212% higher than T8 (Control).<\/p>\n

According to this study, Silica bubble tabs T3 (1:1000 Si, 20g\/20liter pump) treatment, Nutri Bubble T4 (1:2000 Nutri, 10g\/20liter pump) treatment and combined T6 (1:500 Silica Bubble:40g\/20liter pump and 1:2000 Nutri Bubble, 10g\/20liter pump) treatment of foliar fertilizers are suitable for Chili growing area for better yield results.<\/p>\n
