In August 2025 Nousbo USA participates in two major U.S. exhibitions: the Nursery Landscape Expo in Texas and the Farm Progress Show in Illinois.
Nousbo held an Early Order Program (EOP) briefing session for local nurseries and buyers

Nousbo Co., Ltd. is continuing its U.S. expansion by taking part for the second time in the Nursery Landscape Expo in Texas and the Farm Progress Show in Illinois.

Alongside the Texas exhibition, Nousbo held an Early Order Program (EOP) briefing for U.S. nursery farms and buyers to strengthen its sales channels in the American market.

The Early Order Program (EOP) is a widely used purchasing incentive strategy in the U.S. agricultural supply industry. It encourages farmers and distributors to secure fertilizer ahead of planting seasons, typically during the off-season from fall to winter. The program provides two key benefits: ensuring stable supply and enhancing price competitiveness.

At the Texas Nursery Landscape Expo Nousbo focused on promoting HI-COTE Advance, which is a controlled release fertilizer (CRF) for landscaping and horticulture. HI-COTE Advance allows nutrient release to be adjusted to 100, 180, 270, or 360 days according to crop growth. The product drew strong interest and positive feedback from attendees.

Next at the Farm Progress Show from August 26 to 28 Nousbo will showcase HI-COTE UREA-CORN which is a CRF designed specifically for corn in the U.S. Corn Belt and it will be presented under the slogan “Smart Fall Application”.

In the Corn Belt farmers usually plant corn seeds and apply fertilizer together between mid-April and early May. HI-COTE UREA-CORN introduces a different approach by applying fertilizer in the fall at harvest time (in October or November) and then planting seeds the following spring.

This method can reduce costs and labor because it removes the need to rent additional heavy machinery and hire extra manpower. The innovation is possible thanks to Nousbo’s advanced coating technology that prevents nutrient release during the winter months.

U.S. interest in Nousbo’s controlled release fertilizers has been steadily increasing and many farmers have responded positively to its nutrient release technology. Interest is also rising in Nousbo’s newly designated eco-friendly biodegradable CRF which was recently recognized in Korea as a high-quality fertilizer.
