The coating material slowly releases nutrients throughout the crop’s growing period and then fully decomposes under natural conditions such as soil temperature, moisture, and microbial activity. While it varies by environment, more than 80% of the coating disintegrates after 180 days under composting conditions, making it visually indistinguishable from the soil.
