Nousbo Co., Ltd. has completed registration of its second patent related to CRFs with biodegradable coatings. Following the company’s first patent, this latest registration further strengthens Nousbo’s technological leadership in the field of biodegradable coating technologies for CRFs.
The newly registered patent covers a manufacturing technology for controlled-release coated fertilizers utilizing the biodegradable resin PBAT (polybutylene adipate terephthalate) and eco-friendly materials. It is designed to precisely control nutrient release rates according to crop growth stages. By applying an optimal mixing ratio of PBAT and eco-friendly materials, Nousbo improved coating efficiency while reducing production costs and increasing productivity. The company continues to secure patents for its core manufacturing technologies to expand the adoption of eco-friendly solutions among growers and improve manufacturing efficiency.
This technology is attracting attention as an alternative that can address the limitations of conventional non-biodegradable coated fertilizers.
