Controlled Release Fertilizer (CRF) Manufacturing

Nousbo's Fluid-Bed Coating (FBC) process encapsulates granular fertilizers in a proprietary semi-permeable polymer membrane. The membrane is manufactured in-house, enabling both Linear and Sigmoid release profiles — the latter uniquely synchronized with crop growth curves. Production capacity reaches 10,000 tons/year per unit, with a total annual output of 20,000 tons.

Biodegradable Resin Coating Technology

The next generation of CRF coating uses bio-based and microbially degradable polymer membranes that leave no microplastic residue in the soil. Developed to meet emerging EU and US regulatory requirements for sustainable agriculture, this technology delivers the same precision release performance as conventional CRF while eliminating long-term plastic accumulation in agricultural land.

Effervescent Diffusion Fertilizer Technology

A water-activated tablet/granule format that uses controlled gas generation to rapidly disperse and diffuse nutrients through the soil or growing medium. Unlike conventional water-soluble fertilizers, effervescent diffusion creates a uniform nutrient distribution matrix within seconds of contact with moisture — ideal for fertigation, soil drench, and rapid-correction applications.

NPS Plant Synergist

An exclusively Nousbo-developed formulation combining three active components that create a nutrient reservoir within the soil matrix. NPS doubles the effective duration of applied fertilizer, reduces application frequency by two-thirds, enhances soil cation exchange capacity, and activates plant stress resistance pathways against drought, heat, and salinity. Validated in UIUC field trials.

RDA-Designated Research Institute
Korea's Rural Development Administration designates Nousbo's Suwon Central Research Institute as an official Fertilizer Testing and Research Institute, validating the depth of in-house scientific capability.

North America Expansion
Nousbo USA established in Houston, TX, with a distribution warehouse in Semmes, AL. Partnership initiated with University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for on-farm CRF validation trials in corn and soybean systems.
